video problems with monitor to computer

ok, so i my cd drive went out, so i was changing it out with a new one and after i did that, my monitor like stopped working, its telling me that i have no signal, and i dont know what to do, can someone help me?
 
Check all your cables. 99% of the time you get a "no signal" to your monitor is if it's not plugged into your VGA or the computer is off.
