Video problems in new Macbooks

Virge pointed out that Macbooks have had crappy cooling before too so it could be that.

I'm not sure but I think the newest Macbooks had nVidia chipsets...I'm not sure if ALL of them have nV IGPs though.

My question wasn't just about the Macbooks.

I just wondered if an official list of all the affected NV Gpu's had been released.

You might wanna go to your laptop vendor's site and check for your specific GPU. I'm not sure if there were any lists published.

I doubt it's a chip problem this time. Apple's been using skimpy cooling on the MacBooks ever since they first came out.

Yes. Older MacBooks with dGPUs have been known to croak while playing EVE-Online, for example.
