There should be a sticky on these issues :)

Anyway, I have a 2500+ Barton, Soyo KT800, 2x512MB PC 3200, 9600XT, slightly old Enermax 350W, NEC 19" monitor.

So, I will be playing WoW for a few hours, and sometimes it will run all night, but sometimes my screen will go blank.... then the page will fill with green "artifacts", then go blank again, and come back on, as if nothing happened.(this takes roughly 15 seconds)
Other times, the artifacts will appear all over the screen, and the computer stays on, but the screen sits there and something makes a repetitive screeching sound(ill have to record it one of these days...) that is 1-2 seconds and repeats until I reboot my machine.

When I reboot, my temp monitor says between 45-57C, and I am able to play for another few hours or the rest of the night.

This happens at random times, but I do notice that when I play Far Cry, it will do the same thing, so I am thinking the video card is getting overheated or video card is running out of memory, what should I do?

Btw, I have an 80GB HD split 10(windows)/10(programs)/57(music) and a 160GB HD, full partition, with my page file on the 160GB.

Im thinking one of two things...borderline powersupply performance or the GPU is overheating. The borderline PS issue is ez to resolve with the purchase of a new (reliable) PS. For the possible overtemp of the GPU...first I suggest a visual inspection during operation...is the fan on the Heatsink running...is the heatsink and fan clean of dust and furballs? If phisical inspection does dont show any problems then perhaps a new Heatsink and fan is in order..might I suggest this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835110103.
