Here is the deal, I have an old pentium 133 with about 50 megs of ram and a 3 gb hard drive, I was running windows 2000, but now i want to learn linux. First I installed a old version of linux i had laying around redhat 5.2..... after not too long i decided to download something more recent.

First I tried Mandrake 8.1 problem, the bottom of my screen overlaps to the top.. hmm then i go and install redhat 7.2, same problem!!!
What do you guys this the deal is i didn't have this problem with windows 2000 or redhat 5.2
Please help!

Are you sure it's not a problem with your monitor? Make sure you set a supported refresh rate on the videocard+monitor, e.g. 60 Hz to try things out. Then use the monitor's controls to make the image fit.

P.S. You were running what on that machine?!
