Video problem with Sacrifice.

Hi all,
I am trying to run Sacrifice on a new machine with an Athlon XP 1600+ and Win XP. Video card is a Geforce 2 Ti (64mb).
Whenever I start the game I get a black screen. I have patched the game, tried running it in compat. mode but no dice.
Anyone have any suggestions?
