Does anyone remember the file that needed to be installed after Service pack 1? It's the one that helped with the ATI cards. I can't remember for the life of me but seem to recall it prevented games from locking up and was available from MS. I just formated, put a new MB/CPU in my daughters computer and it locks up in games. I have the ATI 7000 in there and it was fine before but I remember having to intalls a patch from MS. I have already downloaded the newest drivers from ATI. It only locks up in games and other than that runs Distributed computing 24/7.
