Video playing problem.

All of my videos play back really out of wack. the colors are all messed up, everything seems WAY to bright. ive tried using a few different media players, and the result is always the same. i recently just reformatted and im wondering if this caused it. any idea what could be wrong with all of my videos? how can i fix this issue?

Are you using the new NVIDIA 77.72 drivers? They mess up the colours in Windows Media Player but its an easy fix.

In Windows Media Player, go to Tools > Options > Performance tab > Advanced.

Uncheck Use video mixing renderer. OK everything. Then go to Tools > Options > Performance tab > Reset Defaults.

That should do it.

You can go back into Advanced and put Use high quality mode on if you want - makes videos a bit brighter.
