I've had this problem for a while but it's been pretty random so I always brushed it off as just another windows issue. Thing is it's extremely annoying when it starts to happen a little more often.
What happens is I'll try to play a video file be it streamed online or even just a video I have saved on my desktop and just as the video gets started my resolution switches to this oversized and corrupted looking mess where some of the windows are transparent and the only fix is to end task whatever application that is playing the video for my desktop to switch back to my set resolution.
I've tried digging through google and the boards and couldn't find anything. It seems to happen with any video related program like Windows Media Player 10, Realplayer, and misc. streaming apps on websites.
