Video Playback issues, all in white??

ANyone having this problem? anytime i try to playback ANY video, it is very granulated and extremely bright,, mostly white. I can barely make out what is on the screen most of the time. Could it be a codec issue? I reformatted already, and new drivers all that, still the same problem. Any suggestions?

no, it's probably a problem with the video card driver that you are using. Try installing a older version or go to 3-D guru.com and find a modded versionof the driver for your card. I had a similar problem with my Geforce 6800 gt,and I am currently using an older version driver. Good luck!

in the driver settings, color correction or something, reset them to default.

If you have an NVidia card:

Display Properties > Settings tab > Advanced > GeForce _____ or whatever your card is > Color Correction > Apply color changes to: OVERLAY and Color Profile: Advanced Mode.
