Howdy folks... I'm having a problem on my HTPC sort of...
The situation:
6800 on newest Nvidia drivers
Playing movies mainly.
The problem: Whenever I use ANY media player (VLC, MPC, PowerDVD etc) in fullscreen mode for a non-widescreen video/film, it 'superzooms' the video and the outsides all the way around are 'displayed' offscreen. The width of that which is displayed offscreen is roughly that of the 'powerDVD' bar that drops from the top. (so about 1" or so)
Now for MPC, I can 'decrease zoom' by 1 (by hitting '1' on the keyboard) and then the video displays properly, but no other programs I use have this feature, and I'd rather just have the videos display properly in any case.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
What I've looked at:
Checked the 'video overlay' settings in the NVidia control panel, and they're set where they need to be.
