Video Overlay, can i disable?

I have a Geforce2Mx and its video overlay is ugly
in my Tv tuner program, i can select primary and overlay vid modes.
I use primary cus it just looks more crispier and clear.
But in Media player it uses Overlay by default for video movies.
any way to disable overlay or just Force media player to use primary.
edit some configs, edit the registry? anyway?
please help
 
Should be able to do it if you can find the Disable Hardware Acceleration option in Media Player (forget exactly where it is).
