Hola-
I have this brand spanking new television in my basement. It is a Mitsubishi Wd-52525. I am reading through the literature, and I notice that it has a specific PC input (looks like a conventional monitor connector). Of course, there are 14 different connections in 4 or 5 flavors (component, RCA, coaxial, s-video, etc).
What I dont know is exactly how to use it. The literature says it is a Mitsubishi 1280 x 720p
DLP? Light Engine. I am assuming that means the max resolutions is 1280x720? If so, will I need drivers just like a conventional monitor? Will my video card be able to do 1280x720? Or rather... since i am also going to build a new cube, is there a card that can do 1280x720? I am not brand partial, although I have ATI right now in my laptop and it seems to do well.
If I use component input, can I cram more resolution into it? I just cant see running a game at 720 vertical dimension.
Any hints or tips or experience will be appreciated. Thanks!
