This subject may have been discussed before (I unsuccessfully scanned pages of posts...) but here it is.

I am looking for a video card and a broadcast device that would say hook up to one of my computers. The broadcast device could then be hooked up to any of my TV's so I could view movies, watch multiplayer computer games live, listen to .MP3's, etc.

Has anybody had luck with this? Which video card works best? What broadcast device? I currently do not have a decent video card, and would be willing to spend a few hundred $$ to attempt this feat. I have 4 computers networked, the best being a 1.7G AMD with a GE Force 2 Video card.

I would love to have some multiplayer games like WC3 that could be viewed on a big screen TV by spectators! Having to run a video cable would limit this to one TV.

Anybody do this successfully?

TIA

uhh, I, uh,....

They do make monitors with 802.11b wireless adapters great for mp3's or movies. I know a guy who's mom uses one in her kitchen to pull up recipies.

I know that didnt answer you questions, but at least I tried.

I've done somthing similar like this before. I took the video out on my vid card and hooked it up to a VCR and the audio plugs from my sound card, had to buy an adapter to convert it to RCA. Then i took a standard coax cable and plugged it into the out on my VCR and plugged it into a cable jack on the wall. Now when i go upstairs and turn my tv to channel 3 *or 4 if you change the switch on the back of the vcr to 4* i see whats on my computer screen.
