Video Out to your Projection TV?

Using TV tool out to a Toshiba 57h83 projection tv and the screen comes up black and white!@# This is using S-video from a BFG Ti4600 !

Any ideas?

Does your s-video connect directly to your TV? S-video through a SCART connector can cause this (you may have to use composite if thats the case), also make sure you have the proper country format selected for your TV-output. Possibly a bad cable also, the chroma (color) info might not be making it to the display.
 
sounds like a bad cable or your svideo connector is loose. wiggle the cable and see if the color jumps in. i had to re-solder the connector on my tv when that happened to me

Direct to TV, no SCART's involved here.

Also not PAL (NTSC setting on tvtool)


I tried this also through a SCART multi device thing and then, the initial display from tvtool will give me color, but then would jump back to black and white! Which makes me think it's a software issue...
