Video out to Satelite reciever

Have you tried this? My tv doesnt have svideo out so instead of buying the $20.00 adapter at radioshack i was hoping to use the svideo on my dish network reciever. Hoping this can work.

If you mean you want to connect the s-video TV-out from your computer to your TV by going through the jacks on your Dish Network receiver then the answer is definitely not! The s-video jacks on the satellite receiver are all OUTPUTS, not inputs. Connecting the s-video output of your graphics card to any of those s-video jacks on your dish receiver will likely fry the graphics card, satellite receiver, or both.
