Letter from Anonymous:

Greetings city of Albuquerque, we are Anonymous. Recently, a video has been released to the public which shows Albuquerque Police Officers murdering a man in cold blood for ‘illegally camping’. This man, which was schizophrenic, obviously had no intention of hurting these police officers, on the contrary, this man looks as if he is simply attempting to protect himself from visually fierce militarized thugs. Whether this man had a history of crime is irrelevant. We drastically need to address the growing police state that has occupied our country. When will we say no more? How many more citizens will be murdered? Naturally, the APD will attempt to label Anonymous as a terrorist organization for our demands of justice, but the question has to be asked. Who do we terrorize? Is it not a growing police state that terrorizes it’s own citizens? APD you now have the full attention of Anonymous. To the citizens of Albuquerque, it’s time to organize. On March 30th we are asking the citizens of Albuquerque to occupy the APD HQ and occupy the sites of the Albuquerque Police Department. Let them know that your city is not a place for war games against the homeless and the less fortunate. Anonymous grab your cannons and aim them at Albuquerque police websites.

Edit:
A timeline of murder and brutality committed by the Abq PD :
http://www.abqjournal.com/apd-under-fire#timeline
Murdering those they 'protect and serve' for 'threatening suicide' or 'brandishing a plastic spoon'.

So Anon believes in personal liberty but they are ordering us to murder cops without due process?

Yeah, methinks they are better with computers than they are with humans.

WTF? He turned away and was walking away from him and they shot him in the BACK? WTF?

And they were STILL shooting him after he was down? I just... gosh man, this just makes me sick to my stomach.

Think again

It's information the public should be aware of. How the people respond is entirely up to them. DDOS is the least of their worries.

No wonder I didnt hear about it - it's a non event. What happened to 'occupy the police station'. More like crowd up a bit on the sidewalk and then get tear gased. Oh that'll work.

It worked before right?

Two of the people shot by Albuquerque police were killed just this month, with the most recent shooting coming hours after a protest sparked by the previous one.

Seriously? This is somehow a political issue?

obviously. "Small government conservatives" really should be upset when supposed liberals express frustration and anger regarding overreaching militarized government forces.

wait...what?

They don't know what think when someone with an anti-establishment view states the obvious, and actually agrees with their views(the views they were told to have), so they bury their heads farther up their asses and chant religious dogma. It's a shame thinking's gone out of style. I realize it's more difficult than having the TV dumped in your head, but not that much so. The difficulty level is on par with making instant oatmeal.

They have always been like that, probably worse back then, but now it's out in the public more. People can record stuffs with their cameras, now they have cameras on their phones.

There are also sporadic pushes to get a uniform camera or at least a microphone on all on-duty cops. Personally I think those are a great idea, they take a lot of the he said/she said bullshit out of the equation.

i was driving through Albuquerque yesterday and stopped for lunch on my drive from El Paso back to Denver. I had no idea about this shooting until i saw all the protesters and asked one of them what was going on.

i made a post in P&N about this shooting this morning.

having trained military working dogs and shultzhund dogs as a hobby, the dog in that video was the most poorly trained and confused police dog i have ever seen. No way should that dog or handler should be certified for patrol.

Hey, they were just following orders from the politicians. "If elected I will exterminate homelessness from our community!"

BOOM one down.
