They're lucky their first hit was right side up on the skids. Probably would've been a lot worse otherwise.

k6plus.com? it's still up and running? whao.

No prob.

K6Plus.com is still going. It's never been a terribly busy site since it's kinda fills a niche. But it still gets new members and helps people out with their K6 problems. :)

ok, I've got this link: mms://wabctv.wmod.llnwd.net/a114/o1/wabc_050304_chopper2.wmv

how do I save it to my computer?!

isnt that BT?
that's a streaming media file that WMP plays. If you really want to save it, find an app called Streambox VCR.

can't you save as the link though?

Net Transport works really well also for streaming links

The worst part is this is the second chopper channel 4 has lost in a relatively short time. A mechanical failure in 98 crashed another one of their choppers into a river (all passengers lived in that crash too).

maybe they need to stop flying them 24/7 and periodically take a break from action shots ;)

6 years is relatively short? I guess...

The one person walked away from the crash, another was in stable condition, third (pilot) was in serious condition.

Yes, I'd say 6 years is a relatively short time for ONE news channel to lose TWO helicopters.
