God...why? I just don't get some people...I'm not sure why, but I think I hate that guy

[Edit] And yes, I've parachuted out of planes before...

wow, that's insane. I admit I don't know much about skydiving, but wouldn't it be VERY hard to hang on to the parachute if you deploy it when it's not strapped on to your back?

some people just have to push things to the extreme.

I never have sky dived before but I think it'd be cool thing to do. with a parachute attached of course.

I was half expecting/hoping he would let go and fall. Does that make me a bad person?

I was too. Don't worry. It'll happen soon enough.

It looks like he has the strap bit wraped around his wrists? If so it isn't that bad. Just the impact of the chute deploying but it may be possible to hold on to it?

Looks cool.

They shouldn't have cut away when he was getting his feet in to the shoot.

He has a strap attached to his wrist. If the pack slips, it ain't going nowhere b/c it's attached.

........I'm sure they also took extra precautions with cameraman or friend "riding" nearby with a spare pack in case of a potential FUBAR.
