Video monitor settings won't stick

I have a samsung 245t monitor and EVERY TIME I turn on my computer I have to reajust the desktop color setting to get it back to what I set. It's really annoying. I have the monitor drivers installed and set to "use nvidia settings"

yep that does not always stick. whats funny is there will be times it has clearly changed back yet it will still say "use nvidia settings". you then have to deselect it and then reselect it for it to work. even some games such as Crysis have always messed it up to where you have to do that after playing. I doubt they will ever make it work correctly 100% of the time.
