Video memory test?

I've got a PNY 6600GT that crashes like a champ. I've gone to multiple machines with the same problem. Is there a free diagnostic out there that can check vid memory?

Okay not real constructive butt..... Alright I don't "own" the 6600GT it's a friends and I"m tryin to figure out how to get it working properly. As you can see in my sig there's no way I'd even let this card sniff my computer much less put it in.

You've gotta give us more information. When this happens, temp, drivers, etc.

Yes, sometime ago I ran across an nVidia vid ram testing proggie. At the time I was running a 9800p, so didn't use it. I'm pretty sure I burned it to a cd. Just not sure if it works on the new generation. If I remember I'll try it tonight on my 6800GT

I found it by googling for benchmarking proggies. You might wanna google and see what you come up with. EDIT: GO HERE and scroll down to "TestVideoRam"

So, have you tested the card in multiple machines or not? If so and you have had issues in every machine, the card is bad... Does it really matter if the RAM, GPU, or some other part is the culprit? It's not as if you can swap out the RAM if one of the modules are bad...
