I recently purchased parts to put together a new computer system. the motherboard I am using is the K75SA which has the built in sound and lan. After I setup the system and booted up and installed Windows 2000 professional, the video was not working correctly. The video card I am using is the ATI Xpert 2000 Pro (AGP). When I looked in the device manager, first thing I noticed was that there was no Monitors section as there usually is. Also, the drivers for the lan and vido card
were not working correctly, so I tried updating the lan drivers using the CD that came with the motherboard. However, it simply said 'the driver found is the the .inf type requested'. Then, when I tried installing the drivers for the video card, it just said 'the drivers found are not compatible with the device in your system' which is odd because I'm using the CD that came with the video card. Also, when I tried installing software for the monitor, simply popping in the Samsung 750S software CD gets the error 'monsetup.exe error' which I'm assuming is not an err on the part of the CD but rather something with all
the other problems stemming from the motherboard. Any one ever get problems anything like these?
