I've been hearing about it a lot. Right now I use media player classic with k-lite-codec pack and the ffdshow codec, was wondering what the advantages with VLC. Some people here swear by it, and I just wanna know why.

It uses low amount of cpu/memory, has great amount of options, doesnt crash often, and has built in codecs, so you can use it without having to download them seperately (useful at school).

I like, but I don't like the volume and video controls. I think media player classic is the best

What's wrong with Ctrl+Up Arrow/Down Arrow?

I prefer clicking.... and the scrollbar to move to different parts of videos is just terrible compared to wmp

I use it and notice is uses far less processor, which is important on my aged system (700MHz Slot-A Athlon). I also seem to think that the picture it puts out is better also and is easier to tune and adjust.

Does anyone know how to make it zoom to 200% via keyboard (equivalent to Alt+3 for MPC), oh, and how to you full screen it (Alt+Enter in MPC) from keyboard?
