Video iPod question.

What's the easiest way to get a series of divx encoded .avi's onto an iPod automatically? I know iPod doesn't support divX, unfortunately, but what's the best way to do this?

Also offer random encouragement or discouragement on this issue. I'm still on the fence, but caving.

you would have to find a way to re-encode with quicktime 7 pro? Not sure how though.

i think quicktime is the best....i heard it takes FOREVER though. or so digg told me.

Quicktime does take FOREVER.

I have been using Xilisoft Video Converter, and it encodes my stuff at like 6x.

for the record, the iPod supports only MP4, M4V, or H264 video formats
