'Confessions of an Economic Hit Man' is a book by a man who says he's been involved in the industry of getting foreign governments to sign on to borrowing money that's largely then paid to US companies, making big profits for those companies but harming the other nations. He claims that foreign leaders who refuse these deals are sometimes killed by the US.
