Video Input Level?? 0.7 or 1.0??

I notice on newer monitors, they have a setting for video input levels, yet with my video card (ATI AIW128) there is nothing in the documents that tells me what the video output level is.

The options on my new Samsung 950p are 0.7 or 1.0v. Which should I choose? I have it at .7 which looks rather bright (I have the brightness all the way down, contrast all the way up) but better than at 1.0 which looks rather dull. What should it be set at?

I've got that setting on my monitor also. Come to think of it I've also got two adjustments for "Color Temperature"... never did figure out what the hell that was supposed to be. 😕
