Video In best solution (high-end home use): Matrox, Pinnacle, other?

I am looking for a solution so that I can watch: S-VHS and PS2 on my 21" monitor. I have a couple of options:
1) get an image processor that converts directly to VGA dsub or BNC
2) get a video in/(out) card for my PC.

Can anyone suggest solutions for 1) or 2) ? In particular, since this is a computer hardware forum, I am interested in the Matrox Rainbow Runner G (I have a G400 MAX) vs. Pinnacle System's line, vs. everything else. Recommendations are most appreciated.

ATI All in Wonder Radeon, has the s-video "in" to connect your PS2 and your S-VHS VCR. Mine works great and is excellent for gaming as well, has many other features.

Any video card with a s-video "in" should work, I've never used any of the cards you mention.
