Having just hooked up a second monitor to my 4890 in order to play some video on it while I game full screen on my main display, I've noticed that the instant I start up the game the image quality of the video on the second monitor drops.
As to the exact nature of the IQ decrease I can say only this: the Video becomes grainy and sometimes tears like when vsync is disabled.
I have the gut feeling that this is normal behavior, but will go ahead and post here on the off chance that someone knows of some setup which'll allow me to have my cake and eat it too.
I'm using VLC to view the .avi files and the system is operating under Vista with 9.11 ati drivers, btw.
