What's the problem with storing a battery on concrete? Is this 1910?

Reminds me of the Anal Retentive Chef (played by Phil Hartman in the 90s).

All his points are valid with the exception of using premium gas to fill the tank, if your going to be adding Sta-bil to it anyway using premium (unless your car requires it), is a waste of $$.

Actually if it's in a garage it should be left hooked up to the car with a battery-tender on it, that way you don't lose all you settings and the PCM doesn't have to "learn" your driving habits all over again..

I was wondering about that. None of my current cars take premium.

I find it unbelievable how many people still don't understand what octane does. Things like this make me sad.
