A few years back I remember seeing a video on the internet of a guy with a very young girl running across train tracks trying to beat an oncoming train. He hesitates a couple of times, and then finally goes for it, dragging the girl in tow. He makes it, she does not, and she goes flying past the camera. Heartbreaking.
