Unless the video freezes at the end , it looks to me like his body is very stiff which could indicate a broken neck/spine of some kind.

I have a friend or two who insist that in the accidents they were in that the seatbelt would have killed them rather than helped, so they don't wear them. Too bad video like this won't even change their mind.

I know that much. Hell, I've been doped up on meds coming from the hospital or dentist or even drunk (as a passenger in all instances, of course) and I still remember to put on my seat belt every time. It's habit and has been for over 20+ years now. I can't still believe that people don't wear them, no matter their reason.

I know that much. Hell, I've been doped up on meds coming from the hospital or dentist or even drunk (as a passenger in all instances, of course) and I still remember to put on my seat belt every time. I was involved in accident last year.
I was cut off by a S-10 Blazer while doing 65 and he had to be doing 85, He didn't have me cleared when he changed lanes and clipped my front bumper causing him to lose control and flip several times. The end result was a pregnant 21 year old mother of 4 and a 19 year old boy were killed when they were thrown out, There were six people in the Blazer and they were the only two not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver was hurt but lived and the other three were walking around, One girl was looking for her brother, He was the one who didn't make it.
It's something that will live with the rest of my life, I still see the Blazer flipping through the air as if it happened yesterday, My girlfriend wouldn't drive for quite sometime and still won't drive on the freeway or highways.
Me I had to go to work the next day and try to forget what I saw less than twelve hours before. ( I drive for a living)

Alex Trebek survived a similar wreck last night:

1-31-2004 Trebek Escapes Injury in Wreck, Fell Asleep At The Wheel

Templeton, California- The host of "Jeopardy!" has managed to escape injury after crashing his pickup truck in California.

Authorities say Alex Trebek apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle sideswiped a string of mailboxes, sailed over an embankment, and was airborne for about 40 feet before it landed in a ditch.

A California Highway Patrol officer says Trebek, who's 63, was driving alone on a rural road in the central part of the state last night. Trebek owns a horse farm about ten miles southeast of Templeton.

I'm pretty sure his car was upside down at the end of the video which is why he looked so stiff. I couldn't say if he died or not though.

Doesn't say if Alex was wearing a belt though.. that would make a difference. My brother survived a rollover but he was belted.

Our driver's ed teacher quite a few years back told us a story where a young girl sitting in the back of a car had her head decapitated after a roll-over... because she WAS wearing a seat belt. Of course some people would think they'd be better off without the seatbelts, but I'd rather stay inside the car rather than fly through a window and land 50 feet somewhere else. Statistics for seat belts don't lie.
