What is a drive cam????

Is this real? I am wondering if people really have cameras in their car like this? I'd ask there but I don't have an account there.

It's probably an old repost but I couldn't find another thread.


Anyone else notice at the end he says "SH!T!"
 
That reminds me of the technology BMW and another car company were working on, that basically
had a small camera that would be used to measure the rate at which your eyes blink and the length
between blinkings to determine if you are falling asleep, and if so would slow the car down if it felt you were,
minimizing damage to yourself.

I found it pretty funny... espescially that the yokel had a Dale Earnhardt shirt on was just icing on the cake.

Having rolled my Pathfinder that's a scary flashback. Thankfully we were ALL wearing out seatbelts. I learned that lesson a long time ago.
