Why? I believe in personal responsibility, don't you? Do you think only Disney should be allowed to make movies, and only Celine Dion should be allowed to sing :: shudder :: ? Or do you accept that parents should raise their own children, not the government?

I cringe at the insensitivty in your reponses. Something should be done. Who is with me?
I'm with you all the way. I agree, the pansy legislators aren't doing enough. Kids caught playing violent video games should be beaten to death publicly.
LOL, that'll teach them!

the responsibility for exposing our children to games that they aren't ready for lies directly with the childs' parents. responsible parents will usually raise responsible children. it's all a matter of using good guidance, discipline and timing. exposing our kids to games with violence in them at a time in their lives when they have the maturity to fully realize the game itself in no way reflects real life and should never be confused or interpreted as such is to me one of the most important lessons the young gamer should be taught. i'm sure there are numerous situations where the aforementioned is not the case and misguided kids are left to themselves to interpret what they are being taught while playing games beyond their range of maturity. the question is should all of us who are responsible parents and adults be denied the entertainment value of these games on the loose assumption that because some other irresponsible adults aren't providing proper guidance some (many?) children are suffering negatively from being prematurely exposed to games of this type?

by the time Gen X is done people will be sueing each other for giving someone a cold or maybe even looking at them in the wrong way :Q

PARENTS are responsable for raising their kids NOT GAMES.... if you are a parent already shame on you, if not, PLEASE don't have any you are not ready yet.

I think we should make children hang out on the streets of large cities every night so they can see real violence instead of this digital crap.
