Video Game Releases for Week of 4/11 - Splinter Cell, Final Fight

Another thin week of releases but still better than last week's with the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction. This game's been a long time coming after Ubisoft went back to the drawing board.

The only other retail releases this week are Blood Bowl for the PSP and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City for the PC and Playstation 3.

There's actually alot of action on the digital distribution side with Final Fight: Double Impact for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 1 for the PC and PS3.

I'll pick up Splinter Cell. I still have my Sega CD copy of Final Fight somewhere. <3 Magic Sword

I was able to get Splinter Cell for like $34 from Amazon a while back. I also had no idea it was shipping this week.

I didn't really like the demo for Splinter Cell so I'm gonna hold off and save my money for Monster Hunter 3 next week and the PS3 and 360 versions of SSF4 the week after.

I really like what they've done with Final Fight: Double Impact. The arcade cabinet view mode is fantastic.

Even though I have an SNES copy of Final Fight I may still get this to check out Magic Sword. I didn't even know that game existed until this was announced. 😱

I'll wait till SC:C goes down in price. I was impressed enough at the demo, but the review at IGN says the main campaign is only 5-6 hours long. There are plenty of other modes that are just as good apparently, but I'm still not sure I'd like them.
