Video game question: Xbox and Rare

so XBox bought out nintendo's share of rare, but I have yet to see any announcements regarding any rare/xbox projects.

I for one would love to see Killer Instinct out for the xbox... was playing that game on snes emulator - ah the memories.

Really? Shame... it was one of the best fighting games of all time, really brought it up a notch after Street Fighter started going down (Super Street Fighter, Street Fighter Alpha, etc.). I like Tekken and Doa and all, but sometimes I just want to punch buttons and have a super-amazing 20-hit combo pop out 🙂

I loved KI in the arcades... was a little disappointed w/ the SNES version but I never complained. I Rare will also have Banjo on XBox as well.

I never got KI Gold for N64, I assume htat'd be a lot better. I'm trying to get the mame version to work on my comp but can't do it~ Donkey Kong Country was fun though, and DKC64 (or DK64... forgot) was enjoyable... I miss those ... (forgot the genre name) type of games. Conker's Bad Fur Day was really cool too

on that note, i'm amazed conker's bad fur day didn't get a better reception. just checked ign.com, game got a 9.9/10, and although i never beat it had a lot of fun with it. WAITING PATIENTLY FOR NEW RARE GAMES... curious too.. did Rare make any gamecube games?

I thought Killer Instict was one of the worst fighting games ever. MK II and MK III were way better. Soul Calibur is the best 3D weapons fighting game ever and Dead or Alive 2 is the best 3D martial arts game ever, in my opinion. Mortal Kombat II is my favorite 2D fighting game. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was okay but I don't think anything can measure up to the badassness of the Mortal Kombat series.

The first XBOX project is Kameo with Perfect Dark (online?) coming after that. Other then that there isnt much, but expect a ton more from RARE at E3.

I loved KI a lot too... I hated when I was in the middle of a big huge combo and all of a sudden "C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!"
But I guess that's what made the game so cool... I loved being able to break combos myself.

Didn't really like MK2 and MK3 as much even though I played them to death as well.
I'd give Rare some time to come out with a game that will rock you... like Bungie and Halo 🙂
