Video Game Quality on Big Screen TVs?

me and my buddies were going to hook my DC up to his Big Screen TV tonight and i was just wondering what the quality is like if we were to do this? Also will there be any risk damaging the TV if we do this?

DC? Good quality. You are perfectly safe too, if its a newer TV burn-in is probably nearly impossible. Nothing short of leaving the game paused with the TV on for days is going to be a problem.
