Video Game Music

Well, this website is amazing. It was posted here a long time ago, but I feel its worthy of its own thread. VGmix.com.

Basically, fans of video game music take their favorite songs up a notch. Lots of good Zelda, Mario, Duck Tales and Tetris songs (to name the least) free to download. They also have them ranked on different levels so you know which ones to avoid. Just thought you guys would enjoy it.

There are some good remixes there. Thanks for the link. Sometimes when people try to remix a game it ends up sounding nothing like the game. That Dragon Spirit one isn't too shabby.. its strange hearing vocals to the first stage theme.

yeah ive been learning all the mario and zelda stuff on bass guitar and piano... got alot of them down but im nowhere near that kid on the internet when it comes to mario music.

it's the zelda theme, but all spanishy-esque. Very slick

I recently got a nice CD of Super Mario Bros. and Zelda music done in "big band style". It's pretty cool.
