I was on anand for a year before i started coming to OT. My good friend Sinnister pointed me to a topic which contained a video that i found hilarious and catchy and it got me to continue using OT. this video was posted 4 years ago and seeing as another topic made me think of the past, i went and found it on youtube

Wow, 4 years already? I remember it. People were surprised something from a foreign country could sound good. Of course the freaky video animation and stuff just made it that much better.

yeah 5 years here, and i just hit 5000 posts, 3 years longer than me and half my posts but it sitll feels like you live here huh lol
 
That singer is one of the famous Punjabi and Indian Pop Singers in India. He used to top Indian Music charts ~4-5 years ago and his songs were on the tongue of every Indian in those days. I have met his brother who also sings here in the US in Indian weddings (not as good as the guy in the video though).

His other songs are even more popular than the one in the video. Any North Indian wedding is not complete without his songs.

Before I even came to ATOT...like 3 years before I remember being in my dorm with my room mate mastering the dance in this video. There's something about it that makes everyone want to dance like him...everyone I show it to wants to

I, too, found myself doing the dance. The raising pointer finger while watching it thing is fun.
