help, i know this is probably something really really dumb, but i've heard others complaing of the same problem.
someone hosts some avi file on the internet, and everyone download it and can watch it fine, but me and a few can only see the first say 10 sec of video then it freezes (the video) but the audio continues till the end. what am i doing wrong? i tried updating to the latest windows media player (version 9) and also the latest nvidia driver 43.00 (not the latest but new enough) and nothing helps! it still freezes, i tried redownloading also same thing. it only happens every now and then on certain videos...
any help appreciated.
