Watch the guy, it sounds like he is saying "ga-ga" or "da-da". *Then* close your eyes, and you can clearly hear him saying "ba". Watch him again and it sounds like "ga-ga" again.

WTF? Its because when watching we can see his mouth and interprite it as "ga-ga"?

Lopp this..

This works because we subconsciously watch mouth movement when talking to someone. He's moving his mouth to form a G sound, but he's actually making (or lip synching) a B sound.

Your brain won't let you hear "ba-ba" because your eyes should see his lips close in order to make that sound.

i tried to hear ba-ba while watching and i couldn't. Even if i said it aloud or opened my eyes after the first ba and watched the second. Do you think you could train your ears/brain to listen only and hear ba-ba no matter what it looked like he was saying?

Hahaha, I kept looking away and looking back, and he said "ga-ba" and funny things like that. That is crazy, I think the mind is trying to process it because it's used to reading lips.
