Video for Windows or WDM Capture

I'm using a video software package (WebCam32) that requires a Camera compatible with Video for Windows or WDM Capture. Does anybody know if there is a driver that I need in order for this to work?

I'm using a Sony DV (DCR-TRV17) connected to my computer (running W2K) by a firewire connection. I cannot find any documentation on my video cam that says if it is compatible or not with Video for Windows or WDM Capture.

I'm lost here!
