Which video cards (nVidia or ATi) perform better with an Intel 755 system?
I've always built AMD with ATi and am considering an Intel system (755) at the beginning of the year. The upgrade will give me a dual processor and PCIe. Looking at the Abit IP35-E. Interested in your feedback... Thanks!
 
For single video card setups both will work equally as well, but if you want multiple video cards, Intel chipsets only support ATI's Crossfire, if you want SLI you need to purchase a board with an Nvidia chipset on it.
 
Really? ...didn't realize that. Something to consider down the road. I think that the card manufactures are leaning towards less capable cards in tandem vice spending $$ upgrading their latest video cards. Thanks for the info all!
