Video files when shown in thumbnails

i have a lot of anime in this one folder and when i set it on thumbnails, it should show the first second of the video on the icon....much like how it would show it on a picture...but it doesnt on my desktop....and it does on my laptop....but i cant find the reason why its not working...im running xp professoinal on both computers
