Video Error with new KVM switch

I am started to think I should have researched this a bit more before I went out and did it. Last week I bought a 2 computer KVM switch. So that I can use my server and my main computer interchangably without swapping cables, or getting new input/output. But now that i have it, and installed it, all of my text and most of my images have a shadow. Is there anyway I can fix this shadow problem without replacing the switch?

the shadow is being caused by noise being generated from the multiple connections on the video signal.

Get shorter cables, or better quality cables. Reduce resolution of the screen. Get a better quality KVM.


This is a common problem/feature of KVM's.....
