Video Encoding Question

A while back, nvidia intimated that the GTX 6 series had a build in h.264 video encoder that could be accessed using their nvenc codec. I purchased a GTX 680 thinking this would be an advantage for me but after 6 months, I haven't seen much of anything on the subject.

Since I don't game, I think the GTX 680 is a waste.

Can anyone think of any advantageous for me to keep the GTX 680? I don't need any more than 2 monitors. I am thinking about selling the GTX 680 since it's more power than I need and use my old GTX 570. I currently use Tmpgenc as my editor/encoder which uses CUDA.

Thoughts?
