video editing help

I need help video editing. I need a good MJPEG capture card. I saw the Matrox G400 TV and the Pinnacle Studio AV7. I would get the Matrox, but I cannot find a Matrox video card anywhere! I want to buy it at a store, not online. I got the Studio AV7, but then I realized that it does not have on board sound, so you have to hope that the video synchs w/ your sound card. help me on this.

Where are you from? Action Computing in Sunnyvale carries them (they don't stock them onhand for the most part, but can usually get them same day).. You might also try Central Computer in Santa Clara.

This, of course, assumes that you live in the San Jose area.

I live in MA. The reason why I pick not to get it over teh internet is because I need it now. I am doing a project for school and MPEG sucks when it comes to video editing (I keep dropping frames). I was gonna get a Hardware MJPEG capture card during the summer, so I just decided to get one now.
