man, i'd be scared to get that close to a squirrel. those things are vicious! this could've been one of those angry drunks, you never know.

I had a pet Fox Squirrel. They are the gentlest animals I have ever dealt with, and one of the most loving. Even wild ones can be made to come up and sit on your lap and eat nuts. They are only vicious when provoked and threatened.....but that is true of just about EVERY animal including man.
