Video Driver for TNT2U: What is the best one for gaming and where do I find it?

What about the Nvidea site?

Why don't they have a list by graphic card?

They just had the Detonator, is that good?

You can find just about all of the TNT/TNT2 drivers right here:

reactorcritical

looks like they don't have the 3.68 ones, which is what i'm using now, but the 3.79 version should work just as well.

I'd go with 5.32 drivers. I find them to be compatible with most games and offer good performance. The 3.68 drivers might offer good performance, but i am a little paranoid about the compatiblity. The 3.68 drivers gave me the fastest fps in quake2.

Shouldn't the latest drivers be better? I don't say they are better, but something in them should be better because they are newer... If they aren't, then why not?

No. Done many tests in q3a and UT<not ethe BIG UT heh>

Tests we're on Diamond viper 550 (TNT) and Diamond Viper 770u (TNT2u)

Basicaly don't go any higher than 3.90 series drivers if you want performance. I play many games(not just fps) and have never had a problem with compatibility.

Not only do my tests show, but talking with others. Choose between 3.68 and 3.90. I like 3.90, any driver after that on ANY TNT(1/2) card will slow down after 3.90. Sorry, just the facts of life, but by all meeans. use whatever u want heh
