VIDEO: Dixie Chicks on Letterman

i liked maybe one song off the new album. their previous albums were better.

and no, not a single good antiwar song so far...from anyone.

I do actually like the song, just not that appearance. I couldn't get past the STtNG lights thing. Also her constant fist pounding rather irritated me eventually...evoked images of a tantrum rather than a protest.

I'm just guessing here, but I don't think they are ready to make nice.

I don't think they are ready to make a decent album yet either.

thanks, but your link takes me to a propogandist site. I'll pass.

Crooks and Liars are a left wing site but they host a lot of videos of news so I usually like to catch up on what I have missed.

I feel like I just lost man points for watching that

Oh, you did! 😉

It's a pretty good song though (do you lose even more man points for saying you like it?😉)

I love this song.. the most powerful verse ....

I've made my bed and I sleep like a baby
with no regrets and I don't mind saying
it's a sad sad story when a mother will teach her
daughter that she aught to hate a perfect stranger
and how in the world can the things that I've said
send somebody so over the edge
that they'd write me a letter saying that I better
shut up and sing or my life will be over.

You should have heard the Dixie Chicks interview on Howard Stern - it was really great radio (satellite).

I usually can't stand country music but this album is far from country - the album sounds more like Garrison Starr.

And since I've already accepted that I have been completely pussified, I had no problem enjoying the entire album.

Of course not, they are still playing Country. At least they have the bnalls to stick to their convictions instead of cashing in on psuedo patriotism like that douchebag Toby Kieth.

 I like the album also - it was the first country album I've ever bought.
