I have been having a problem where my screen freezes and the words on the screen get overlapped, and the pictures get distorted. It always happens when I go to ebay to look at the auctions.I can move my mouse ok, but you can no longer work with the page your on, everthing workes in slow motion. If you try to right click it also works in slow motion. The only way to fix this problem is to reset or sometimes if I change the screen area size from (1024 by 768) to (960 by 720)that fixes the problem. but as slow as it goes it would be faster for me to reset the computer. When i try to close the page down it takes a while. Is this a hardware or software problem?
I am running win98se..650mhz..voodoo 3500..IE 6..does anyone know what this problem could be.

yes, that happens when you get low on system resources, it helps to upgrade your ram and also to set aside a larger swap file to use for memory.

thanks for the quick response, but I have 192mb ram right know and my virtual mem. is set to let windows manage it.
Do i need more ram than this or should I manage my virtual mem?
