Video display problem

On an oldish PC, I was running a MX440 AGP (4x I think) card with the 56.72 drivers. The card finally gave up and I was able to get a used FX5200 card. Since they would use the same drivers, I simply swapped cards. All seemed to work fine, except for video in all users who have limited rights (only I am admin). The video colors are off and seems to be overexposed in any limited account, but displays perfectly when I am logged in as admin. The funny part is that games work just fine (and of course much better than the MX440) in any limited account.

I updated the drivers to 77.77 after uninstalling the 56.72, but no go the same problem remains. I have tried googling the problem with not much success.

Any ideas? OS is XP Home, fully updated.

TIA.
